Ekta joined e.l.f in January 2016 and brings over 20 years of Technology experience from private equity and retail companies. In her current role, she is responsible for digital transformation, including engineering, data ecosystem, enterprise applications, security, and consumer technologies. She is actively involved with leading the company’s Digital efforts to grow its digital footprint across the globe. She joined e.l.f from the James Irvine Foundation, where she defined and led the execution of a highly successful technology strategy for 2.1B investment portfolio. There she focused on technology roadmap for enterprise applications, cloud transformation, and building relationships with top Silicon Valley brands to start new partnerships. Prior to that, she served as VP of Technology for Charming Charlie, a specialty retailer that grew from 17 to 120 stores nationally. While at Charming Charlie, she led the implementation of a new ERP system and build-out of a new data center. She holds B.A in technology & operations management with a minor in finance from California Polytechnic State University. She is a member of Silicon Valley CIO/CTO groups as a thought leader and speaks at many conferences on digital transformation and future of technology.
