INTERNATIONAL. Three digital experts from Perfect Corp, e.l.f Beauty and Charlotte Tilbury will be hosting a ‘shop-tainment’ panel at the pioneering Beauty Tech Live event, set for 12-16 April.

The panel will deliver insights on how the latest digital tools can help businesses enhance the online shopping experience and boost sales.

Beauty Tech Live is a pioneering virtual event that will showcase the joint worlds of beauty and technology. It is the first virtual expo of its kind in the sector, bringing together the latest tech innovations and solutions across all stakeholders in the beauty industry. The event is being organised by The Moodie Davitt Report in partnership with leading B2B beauty title BW Confidential.

The ‘Shop-tainment: How to make shopping online fun and boost sales through AR, virtual try-on and livestreaming’ panel will be led by Perfect Corp Europe AVP Business Development Sylvain Delteil. Delteil has extensive experience in sales and business development for international tech companies. He is one of the founding members of Perfect Corp, which is a leading provider of augmented reality and artificial intelligence services in the cosmetics industry.

Since 2015, Delteil has led the company’s business development in Europe, maximising the comprehension and adoption of Perfect Corp’s B2B SaaS platform across a number of leading beauty companies.

Delteil is joined by e.l.f. Beauty Chief Digital Officer Ekta Chopra and Charlotte Tilbury Director of Digital Harminder Singh Matharu; two leading beauty executives with a specialisation in developing and implementing innovative digital strategies.

Chopra brings over 20 years of technology experience as e.l.f Beauty Chief Digital Officer and is responsible for e.l.f Beauty’s digital transformation over recent years. This includes the restructure of the company’s engineering, data ecosystems, enterprise applications, security and consumer technologies. She is also actively involved in growing the company’s international digital footprint.

Prior to her role at e.l.f Beauty, Chopra held a high-profile leadership position at the James Irvine Foundation. During her tenure, she created technology roadmaps for enterprise applications, cloud transformation and built relationships with top Silicon Valley brands.

Matharu joined Charlotte Tilbury in 2018 as Director of Digital. He is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for managing the company’s direct-to-consumer ecommerce business.

He also leads the company’s digital marketing, customer care and CRM loyalty divisions and is in charge of maintaining digital partnerships with Google, Facebook, Pinterest and Snap Inc among others. Prior to his position at Charlotte Tilbury, Matharu held a number of senior leadership roles at Blow LTD, Allbeauty.com, PhotoBox and British Telecom.
