INTERNATIONAL. Four digital experts will take part in a livestreaming panel at the upcoming Beauty Tech Live event, set for 12-16 April.

The panel will explore how brands can maximise livestreaming and outline strategies to enhance the live shopping experience.

Beauty Tech Live is a pioneering virtual event that will showcase the joint worlds of beauty and technology. It is the first virtual expo of its kind in the sector, bringing together the latest tech innovations and solutions across all stakeholders in the beauty industry. The event is being organised by The Moodie Davitt Report in partnership with leading B2B beauty title BW Confidential.

Madison Schill — who is responsible for communications at live shopping start-up Livescale — will lead the livestreaming panel

The panel will be led by Livescale Communications Lead Madison Schill. Livescale is a Canadian live shopping start-up, recently hailed by LVMH as one of the most innovative startups in the world. The company was founded in 2016 and boasts global clients like VF Corp, L’Oréal Group and Paco Rabanne. It was also selected as part of L’Oréal Group’s 2020 Open Innovation Programme.

Schill has extensive experience in building national digital strategies for companies like Nike, Kendo and Coty. She was also one of the recipients of Plan Canada’s prestigious 20 Under 20 Award. At Livescale, Schill is responsible for identifying and creating trends in the global fashion and beauty space, with live shopping as her key vertical.

Schill is joined by L’Oréal Canada Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Samantha Daude Di Nacera, Dermatologica Canada Consumer Brand Manager Kyla Marsh and Consonant Skin+Care President and Founder Bill Baker.

Samantha Daude Di Nacera has more than 20 years of experience growing startups and multinational companies. She joined L’Oréal Group in 2010 and was appointed L’Oréal Canada Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer in 2019.

In her current role, Di Nacera has defined a roadmap of excellence that integrated ecommerce, CRM and other digital services.

She has also accelerated L’Oréal Canada’s ecommerce transformation and successfully implemented a CRM platform in several European territories. She also developed further partnerships that have maximised the overall impact of L’Oréal’s digital ecosystem.

Kyla Marsh oversees all of the brand’s direct-to-consumer operations. This includes PR, social media and influencer partnerships along with live shopping events. Prior to this role, Marsh spent six years marketing for fashion retailers and launched several consumer-facing shopping events for H&M Canada.

Bill Baker is the President and Founder of award-winning natural skincare brand Consonant Skin+Care. He founded the company in 2009 to offer consumers a healthier alternative to conventional skincare products.
