FRANCE. L’Oréal-owned beauty house Lancôme has teamed up with live shopping company Livescale to host an immersive live shopping event. The event will be livestreamed straight from Lancôme’s flagship boutique on 52 Champs-Élysées in Paris, France.

The ‘Happiness Nights’ event is set for 7pm Paris time on 9 February. It will leverage Livescale’s innovative ecommerce integration and livestreaming technology to offer an immersive virtual shopping experience, set within the backdrop of Lancôme’s striking Paris flagship.

The live event will highlight the latest Lancôme beauty tech devices such as the skincare diagnostic Youth Finder tool and underscore the efficacy of its signature products.

It will also showcase the brand expertise of Lancôme’s skincare, makeup and fragrance advisors who will share beauty tips and answer audience questions in real-time. Attendees can have access to three beauty advisors for a one-on-one chat and enjoy exclusive deals and offers from Lancôme.

The live shopping event will also feature a special virtual performance by French singer Corine. It will be attended  by three French KOLs, Yasmine Zeroc, Anne Sophie Godet and Sabrina Cesari. During the event, attendees can purchase special ‘Happiness Kits’ featuring four Lancôme essentials, specially selected by the KOLs. Each Happiness Kit will comprise one skincare, one fragrance and two makeup products.

Customers can also enjoy special discounts and gifts with purchase, including a -30% discount on any treatment at the Lancôme Spa in Paris. Ten lucky winners also have the chance to win massages at the Lancôme Spa.

Beauty Tech Live is a pioneering virtual event that will showcase the joint worlds of beauty and technology. It is the first virtual expo of its kind in the sector, bringing together the latest tech innovations and solutions across all stakeholders in the beauty industry.
